I'll tell you right now..love the desert..but the desert hates me. Since the plane touched this dry dry desert, the moisture in my skin has been sucked out. I'm now putting on lotion 6-7 times a day, my nose has bled twice, and my lips are gone. I'm naturally such a dry person, but here I dry up, die, and become the sand. Maybe all the sand/dirt out here is from all the people who's bodies have dried to death! Is that an over reaction?
Like I said last time…I didn't pack any shirts for myself for some reason. That could only mean one thing -SHOPPING! Let me tell you now, I am so proud of Miller. He stayed by my side the whole 3-4 hours I spent in two stores, he even wanted to hold my clothes!
We went into Topshop and Zara, it was my first time ever going into either one so I was overwhelmed and took about 3 racks of clothes to the fitting rooms. After the shopping we went to a place out in the desert called The Valley of Fire. Unfortunately we didn't make it before the sunset so we pulled over on the side of the desert and watched the sunset. It was one of the most beautiful experiences of my entire life, we spent so much time in that one spot even though the desert gets so cold, so fast. We are having such a wonderful time in one of the most wonderful places on Earth.
