The Rain

 April showers bring May flowers..we've all heard it but none of us accept it. During spring I only want  the sun to shine and the breeze to cool my skin. Unfortunately Alabama has had a raining spell, this is normal and a lot better from the April 2011 tornado outbreak that killed around 238 people in my state alone. Let us keep our fingers crossed and hope that doesn't happen again.

Other then that life is normal, working, being lazy, and of course spending the money I don't have on clothing and hats! (I'm obsessed with hats because no one wears them here and it sets me apart..which isn't hard.) Also, I would like to thank all the nice people who have been commenting and follow me, I cannot tell you how much this means to me and how much I appreciate it.

Spring return

So far this month has been a little off, I guess not being able to leave my house or see sunlight for a week is the reason why. Alas, I am back on my feet and in tip-top shape.

The flowers here are so bright, colorful, and fragrant. I couldn't wait to get out here and finally get some outdoor photos up..maybe I'll even get a tan this year! We all know that's not going to happen.

Pollen

Hi readers! I just want to apologize about the lack of posting, I know that the key to having a sucessful blog is regular updating and keeping readers entertained. I recently got sick...the pollen here is absolutely OUT-OF-CONTROL! It's quite silly, anything that stands still for more then an hour gets coated in yellow dust.

Sun and Straw

Easter was wonderful.

 It was full of family and eating. To be honest I don't celebrate Easter, I know the real meaning behind it and I honestly don't know why anyone celebrates it. I don't really want to get into that now...so I hope you guys enjoyed all of your holidays. 

I was feeling rustic today..and yesterday, and since I live in Alabama I thought it was perfect. Something simple and earthy, and while everyone else dresses in yellow and white I chose brown and tan. Those are considered spring colors...right?
